In this study, 99mTc- phthalic acid (PA) firstly, was prepared with a high radiochemical yield up to 98% that confirmed with different chromatographic techniques by using 2 mg phthalic acid, 50 μg SnCl2·2H2O as a reducing agent, in solution of pH 7 at room temperature for 30 min. Secondly, 99mTc-tricarbonyl phthalic acid was prepared under 30 min heating at 100°C. Bio distribution studies were carried out in Albino Swiss mice in which 99mTc-PA and 99mTc-tricarbonyl PA were concentrated in kidneys and intestine. This work aims to evaluation of labeled PA as a model for Potential Hazards imaging in vitro and in vivo toxicity in Albino Swiss mice.
